Comfort Inn Newport

Didn't really expect much driving up to the motel. it looked pretty much like every other so-so budget property but the modest lobby was very inviting with attractive furniture and a nice fire going. the young lady at the front desk could not have been more courteous and helpful. The Newport Comfort Inn was in a great location, right across from the ocean and some great beaches. I felt it was a safe area of town. We chose this for the economy price and the close location to an event for which we came to Newport. It was clean and comfortable, the staff were polite, and the continental breakfast had several options. I think the staff and location were great. The bed were comfortable and we found the hotel very quiet. The best part was location to the beach. We were literally at the beach in 3 minutes walking from our hotel. The continental breakfast was great, starting the day without the expense of breakfast for 4 people. ...read more
